Rebecca Niman, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, partner and friend. Rebecca (Becky) Niman passed away on April 21, 2025 at 76 years old. She was the daughter of Lena Pistritto and Carmen Niman. She graduated from Kennedy High School in Waterbury. Becky worked at Colonial Bank in Waterbury and before her retirement, The Insurance Department for the State of Connecticut. Becky was a kind hearted and generous person who put others before herself. She contributed to many charities and had compassion for all animals. One of her greatest pleasures was feeding the birds, squirrels and stray cats that frequented her back yard. Becky leaves many to cherish here memory including her partner Francis Collini ;daughter Rachel(Sonny) Sheren; grandson Justin (Caroline) Dahlgren; sisters Anna(Bob) Runci; Darlene Niman; JoAnn ( Roger) Jeanfavre; brothers Michael Niman and Mark Niman. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and many friends she made over the years.Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Terryville CT or Foster and Forever Pet Rescue of Naugatuck CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
