Today is a heavy day. We miss you. Your laugh. Your spirit. But you always find a way to show up.

I work at a college and today we had a college fair where other colleges come and table at our school. I approached the Cal State San Bernardino table because I graduated from there. I chatted with the girl there and at end, I asked her what her name was.

My name is rachel. I meet beka at here first job in nyc. It was an instant friendship im sure like many people here. We didnt always keep in contact but she was the kind of friend it didnt matter how much time went by we always picked up where we left off. I quit my job to go to her wedding. She took care of me when i broke my leg. When i didnt think i needed someone she some how knew that i did. Weve been friends for over a decade. I only found out i lost her last sunday from steve and i feel like i lost my other half.
