Rebecca's obituary
We mournfully announce the passing of Rebecca "Becky" Erb, who left this mortal coil on October 2, 2023. Born on July 3, 1971, Rebecca lived a life rich with personal triumphs and a web of love spun around her large and warm family. Rebecca's spirit and memory live on in those who survive her today, including her cherished husband, Virgil Erb, and their loving children, David Erb, Daniel Erb, and William Tetlow.
Rebecca leaves behind her doting sister, Roseanna Evans, and her father, Chester Wheeler, who stood by her side through life's storms. She was predeceased by her dear mother, Carolyn Evans - Wright, her brother, Christopher Wheeler, and her sister, Shawna Williamson, with whom she now rests.
In 2008, Rebecca displayed an exceptional strength, astonishingly surviving two battles with Lymphoma Cancer. She was a beacon of hope and resilience to all who knew her.
Rebecca had a penchant for the simple delights of life. She cherished a cold Pepsi, loved the heartfelt rhythms of country music, and found joy in strolling through her garden and spending time with friends, showcasing her caring and outspoken personality. Shopping was another of her favorite pastimes, and she was often spotted at local markets, her warm spirit radiating through the aisles.
Rebecca's favorite color, pink, was as bold and bright as her spirit, and reflected her love of life. Her garden was her sanctuary, a local spot where she could be herself, surrounded by nature's grace.
Rebecca's life was a testament to love and care. Her greatest accomplishment, she would often say, were her children. This caring mother, wife, and friend imparted a single, powerful lesson to everyone she met: to love everyone unconditionally.
Rebecca "Becky" Erb will be greatly missed, yet her loving spirit, her outspoken wisdom, her cherished garden will continue to bloom in our hearts, and her legacy of love will forever stand as a testament to her remarkable life.
