Rebecca Ann Capitano

Rebecca Ann Capitano, 24, of Frewsburg passed away Sunday (March 12, 2023) due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born on December 29, 1998 in Springville, NY the daughter of Paul Capitano and Julianne Capitano.

She attended Falconer High School and was employed by Dog Speak Grooming Salon as a pet groomer.

Becca was known by many as a free spirit. She loved riding her one wheel with her friends, boyfriend, and dog. Her dog Aurora was her best friend and was always by her side. Whenever she needed some time away, Becca and Aurora would head to Zoar Valley to hike and explore outdoors. She loved animals, and all living things, of all shapes and sizes and took great pride in her work as a dog groomer. 

Our daughter was so kind and giving that she also signed up to be an organ , so someone else may have a chance to live. 

Becca will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Surviving are her parents: Her father Paul (Jennifer) Capitano; her mother Julianne O’Hara Capitano; her boyfriend: Justin Whippo; a sister: Angela (Trystin) Lee; two brothers: Christopher and Marc (Angela) Capitano; two step sisters: Emily (Joe) Hadley, Andrea Volk; three nieces: Kyndal, Kylee, Cambree; her paternal grandmother: Patricia Capitano; her maternal grandparents: Bob and Sandra O’Hara; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather George Capitano.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 2 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Father Don Watkins will officiate.

Friends will be received from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home.
