Reanna's obituary

It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Reanna Lynn King. Reanna was born in Middletown Ohio on June 23, 1989, and spent most of her years Fort Myers Beach Florida and considered that her home. She went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2024. Despite our sadness, We take comfort in celebrating a life well lived and well loved.

Reanna was affectionately known as Nana to many but preferred to be called Re. She will always be remembered for her energetic, compassionate, loving, and comical nature. She was an individual who enjoyed the simplicity of life, always treasuring time with her family and adored her pet dog Scarski. She was a beacon of light in our family, teaching us how to weather life’s storms continuously, love others, and live life to the fullest.

Among her greatest accomplishments were becoming a mother to her son, Malachi Thomas-Wayne Scott, keeping her family united, and imparting critical life lessons to her loved ones. Reanna was also a gifted vocalist, who used her gift to spread love and brightness during the darkest times. Her legacy is one of selfless care and friendship, extending her warmth to everyone she met, including strangers.

In her leisure time, Reanna loved engaging in outdoor activities like riding four-wheelers, mudding, having bonfires, and engaging in drag racing. She also had a knack for working on cars. She had a penchant for Coke and Chicken Roll-ups. She was avid fan of the Dixie Chicks, Luke Bryant, Conway Twitty, Miranda lambert among other musical artists. Her favorite TV shows were Wild N Out, True Crimes and Unsolved Mysteries, and she particularly enjoyed the film, American Gangster. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes had a dedicated supporter in her.

Reanna is survived by her mother Deborah Scott, her father Thomas Scott, her brothers Tommy and Dustin Scott, Doug Scott/Stephenson, her sister Brittany Bergeron, sister-in-law Gracie Scott, Uncle Anthony, and Robert Scott, Billy and George Ray, Aunt Willma Ray, Brenda Riggs, her grandmother Barbara Ahmed, and her extended family, Amy Land, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Reanna was predeceased by her beloved spouse Chris Johnson, her grandmother Ollie Johnson, grandfathers Leonard Willoughby, Billy Johnson, LeeRoy Scott, her Uncle William Scott, sister Taylor Barghausen and her dog Little Gurl.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Reanna on December 5, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Elbo Room (1115 Magie Ave Fairfield Ohio 45014). We invite all those who knew and loved her to come and share in commemorating her vibrant life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her favored causes - Cancer Awareness, Hirschsprung's Disease, and Alzheimer's disease.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Her love for the color purple and her penchant for Uno and playing practical jokes will forever stay in our hearts.

Reanna King was a woman of incredible strength and heart. Her spirit and love will forever resonate within us, and while she will be dearly missed, her impact and legacy will never be forgotten.
