Raymond Theodore Williams II

March 14, 1971 - March 1, 2022

Raymond Theodore Williams II passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Waterbury, CT. He was born on March 14, 1971 at New Milford Hospital. He grew up in New Fairfield, CT the son of the late Raymond Williams, Sr and Mabel (Johnson) Williams. He was the youngest of 7 boys. Ray is predeceased by his parents and his older brother, Kevin Williams. He had been retired from the Weston Public Schools System.

Ray is survived by his wife Michele (Colla) Williams, his two daughters Lindsay Williams and Emily Williams. His brothers David Williams and his wife Cindy, from North Carolina, Rick Williams of New Fairfield, CT, Alan Williams and his wife Patti, from New Milford, CT, Doug Williams and his wife Wendy of New Fairfield, CT, Tom Williams of New Milford, CT as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and countless friends.

Ray was a kind soul to anyone who knew him. He was an avid race fan. He loved music and was a wonderful singer. Ray was a big kid at heart. He loved Disney, horse racing, singing, Lake George, hockey, camping and laughter but he loved nothing more than his family.He was the ultimate cheer dad.  He constantly supported the girls and built their confidence. His daughters were his world. His brothers were his best friends. In fact, if you were friends with him, you were family. He was always quick with a joke and nothing made him happier than making people laugh.

A Memorial Service Celebrating Ray’s life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10 am at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 141 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT 06801
