Raymond James Silas went home to Jesus on March 14 2022 at age 80 years old. Raymond was born to Frank and Judy Silas on March 2nd 1942 in Prattville, AL. As a child, Raymond enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Raymond met his wife,  June in 1962 at Pratt Park. They married a year later and went on to have 2 children, Wendell and Wade.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving Father, Raymond also loved sipping coffee on front porch while the sunrised every morning. Raymond is survived by his wife, June, of 61 years. Sons; Wendell Silas and Wade Silas, along with his grandkids: Jessica Silas, Brooke Silas Beggs and Dalton Silas. 

Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
