Raymond “Ray” Louis Moore, 58, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Born on November 25, 1967, in Groves, Texas, Ray was the son of Charles Moore and Shirley Beck. He lived life his own way, leaving an impression on everyone who knew him through his sharp wit, strong opinions, and unmistakable personality. Ray was known for his dry, witty humor, his love for dogs, and the conspiracy theories he could talk about for days.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Ashley Moore (Mike) and Alyssa Murphy (Alex), his three grandchildren, Collin, Harper, and Jude Murphy, his mother, Shirley Beck, his brother Jeff Moore (Mandy), his sister Tammy Moore LeBlanc (Troy), his stepbrothers John Michael Beck (Greg) and Jason Beck (Angie), his stepsister Stephanie Beck Chamberlain (Trent), and his aunt Regina Bourgeois. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with his best girl, Keyna, whose four paws left a permanent imprint on his heart.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Charles Eugene Moore, his stepfather, Jerry Elbert Beck, his grandmothers, Delia Bourgeois and Margarite Moore, his aunt, Floria Moore, and his uncle, Thomas Bourgeois.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Outlaw Bible Church, 7595 Highway 12, Vidor, TX 77662. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, laughter, and memories, and honor a life that will not be forgotten.
