Raymond thank you for being the most thoughtful caring friend in our University of Colorado Era.  Our last visits / conversations too long ago.  A few years after you moved to San Francisco.   I remember when you met Kevin.   After I moved to Minnesota in 1993, I failed to stay in touch.   I loved your off the wall messages written on the outside of envelopes sent to me while I was in Australia.   Exactly the humor needed while doing well but so far from home.  Thinking about you  often through out the years, decided to try and find you.  Sadly too late for us to have another conversation.   Happy this wonderful obituary helps me to know you better, you were happy loved and appreciated.  Kevin, if you are reading this, I'm so sorry for your loss.  My heart breaks for you.  Thank You for loving Raymond ❤️

I was always impressed by Ray’s kindness, creativity, and hospitality. My life was enriched by the time I spent with Kevin and him at the wonderful, convivial dinners he prepared.  My heart and condolences go out to Kevin and the rest of his family, his friends, and colleagues.

I am sad to learn about Ray's passing. It was always a real treat to run into you both on the trails of Leona. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to see you and the dogs sometime in 2024.

From the obituary, I learned I may have seen Ray perform at Josie's back in the day! I probably made a coffee for him at Just Desserts. It is a small world.
