Background

Rays death was so unexpected. No words can express how deeply devastated I am I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. He was the love of my life and without him I feel lost. Ray and I started dating 6 years ago. I was 58 years old when he showed me the true meaning of love. What I loved most about Ray is the way he managed to make me laugh or smile....even when I didn't want to. What I cherish the most is that he loved me for me. He was loyal and very caring. He loved helping people. His lifelong dream was to be a fireman. His ambition to become
one came true when he worked for Cal fire. When he was done with that he signed up with the San Bernardino County Fire Department where he was accepted! 2 1/2 years later he was hurt on the job and was permanently disabled. He had no choice but to leave the job he loved so much. Because of his passion of fighting fires he didn't want to be cremated. He was taken from us so suddenly that we aren't prepared for any funeral costs. Any donations given will be greatly appreciated. And any donations above our goal will be donated to the California Fire Foundation.
