I remember when we "married " Fern to a mannequuin . It was a perfect set up by his friends at their house. Black tie and all. I flew in from LA for it. This is only oneย  memoryย  of years worth ofย  antics. I wish he was still with us.ย

If anybody knows how I can reach Harry and Carla please ask them to email me as I am now living in Hillsborough and would love to reconnect with them.

Tailgating before a 49er game!
Ray had a little bit of a temper. If the ball didn't drop in the cup after an impossible shot, he liked to throw his club. So we made him count to 10 and we moved quite far from the golf cart and then the club was airborne bouncing off the cart. It was always fun and exciting. A retired friend had a golf club repair business and would have the broken shaft replaced the next day. Ray visited him often. I miss you buddy.

I've golfed many times with Ray, mostly with the UAL crowd at the turbine shop tournaments. This pic was the last time we golfed together. There was 8 of us that day: Jessie and Dorothy (Dorothy also worked with Ray), my husband Jeff and son Chris, and friends Linda and Rhonda. He was always so serious on the front nine, then after a few beers would lighten up on the back!
Missing my dear cousin, "Little Ray" because we were great 49er and Warrior fans and spent most of the games texting each other during all Warrior games, and a few of the 49er games!! Rest in peace dear cousin.

Ray & Eric at the College Football Nationa Championship game on Monday 1/7/2109. One of the best memories ever!
I worked with Ray for many years at United and he always was fun to cut up with and a great person to learn from. We first met in 1992 in the SFO Turbine Shop when he was in engine planning. I later relocated to Georgia and Chicago before retiring from United, but every time I was in SFO, Ray would see me and stop to take the time to reminisce and bs. He was very knowledgeable and always had a funny story to tell! I will miss him and his quick wit. Rest in peace and God bless!

I knew Ray since he hired at United and will miss him. We were both in the USAF (not stationed together) and worked/retired together from United. He was a good friend and with others we had a lot of fun times at work and after work especially playing softball for the Hot Sextions and partying afterwards. We had a lot of great conversations about our sports teams and more. He frequently came to my grandson's little league baseball games. He was a good friend. Take care old friend. Fly high and fast!

I met Ray when I was hired at the SFO Engine shop as a provisioning scheduler in 2004. He was a most excellent mentor, and friend. I referred to him as Ray, Ray. Later in my career in SFOIP I made an off handed comment regarding Faith Hill and how at one time my legs were at a level of hers lol. This was during the time that Faith Hill did the lead in for Sunday Night Football. From that day on he would tease me about my comment. I gained valuable knowledge in the aviation industry both in airframe and engine from him. We just clicked, he was my cup of tea, and a fellow tribe member. On a personal level his friendship was important to me. He brought me laughter, and joy. I will forever feel blessed that he was my friend. I will miss him.
