Raymond's obituary

Raymond Robert Bolduc, 67, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on January 11. 2020, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Raymond was born on July 5, 1952 in Hartford, Connecticut, to Madeleine B. (Letourneau) and Armand E. Bolduc. He attended Bulkeley High School in Hartford, Connecticut, after which, he went on to work as a machinist for Atrax, Fafnir Bearing Co., and Pratt And Whitney. Raymond's love for the outdoors led him to attend taxidermy school in Wisconsin, eventually leading him to start his own business, Ray's Taxidermy, in Salem, CT., which he owned and operated for over 10 years.

An avid outdoorsman, Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being in nature. He was a proud supporter of the Boston Red Sox and UConn Women's Basketball, never missing a game if he could help it. He was also a proud member of the Elks Lodge #2658. Raymond will always be known for his sense of humor and his ability to lighten up a room with a joke or funny story. Of all his accomplishments, Raymond was most proud of his relationships with his family and friends. He loved them fiercely and was at his happiest spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Madeleine B. (Letourneau) and Armand E. Bolduc; Brother-in-law Antonio Iaconiello and nephew/godson Jeffery Camarca. Raymond is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Katherine (Grossomanides) of 45 years; his daughters Amy Bolduc of Ledyard, CT, and Jessica and Abby Bolduc of Port Saint Lucie, FL; his siblings Maurice and Bernette Bolduc of Enfield, CT, Bernice Camarca of Bristol, CT, Rachel Iaconiello of Niantic, CT, Richard and Brenda Bolduc of Wethersfield, CT, Carol and George Krouse of Colchester, CT, and Arlene Bolduc of Hobe Sound, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 8, 2020, for an 11 a.m. service at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2330 Mariposa Avenue, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Following the service, a celebration of life will take place at The Fountains Club House, 114 E Southeast Village Drive, Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation, In Memory Of Raymond R. Bolduc, to Saint Lucie County Fire District, 5160 NW Milner Drive, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983.
