Family and friends,

God saw it fit to relieve our loved one of all his pain. Our brother and friend, Ray Dewayne Cook, gained his wings on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:47 AM. We are happy he is released of his pain and suffering. He was a warrior and fought hard through this journey.

The Memorial Service will be held at Watkins Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 5:00 PM. The address is 163 North Ave. , Jonesboro, GA 30236.

The family will host a repass at American Legion Post 291 from 6:00 -8:00 PM. The address is 3011 Cambellton Road, Atlanta, GA 30311.

We will honor Ray in shades of blue. Ray loved the outdoors - water, skies and God’s splendor of nature. We will wear shades of blue representing the sky. Please join us, if desired.

God blesses our lives with so many good things – family, friends, His grace and mercy, wisdom, insight, joy and peace to name a few. But there will be a day when all the pains and difficulties of this life will be left behind. We will receive the ultimate healing in life – those who believe in Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior, will stand before Him and He will show us His face. The Lord’s face will shine on us and His countenance will shine upon us and we will be filled with His grace and peace.

We have incredibly abundant blessings today through God’s grace. However, we go through each day knowing that the best is yet to come – when we will see God face to face ~ Faye
