Rawlette's obituary
Rawlette "Pumi" DeCoito Kraut, a kind, sweet, and generous woman, passed away on March 28, 2023. Born in 1948 in Waialua, HI. She was a proud graduate of Kamehameha High School where she completed her education in 1966. Rawlette went on to further her studies, graduating from Sacramento State College in 1970 with a BA degree, and later, North Park University in IL with a MA degree in 2004.
Professionally, Rawlette dedicated her life to being a Special Education Teacher, making a significant impact on the lives of countless students over the years. Outside of her professional career, she was passionate about her hobbies which included being an active member of the Queen Emma Civic Club, exploring the world through travel, making various types of leis, and collecting various items of interest.
Rawlette is survived by her Children: Kai Nani Fitch Kraut (Walter Thomas Michel), Leon Adam Kraut III (Sara Koveleski Kraut);Grandchildren: Malia Kamanakai Slevin, Sullivan Imi'ola Slevin, Claire Iwalani Michel, Cameron Scot Michel, Keenan Makaio Kraut, Madeline Kamea Kraut, Scarlett Leilani Kraut. Rawlette's memory will forever live on, not only in the hearts of her family but also in the many lives she touched as a dedicated educator and devoted friend.
