Raven Blake Sebastian, a sweet, loving, and remarkable angel on Earth, was called home by God on March 31, 2025, at Sovah Hospital in Danville, Virginia, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on April 12, 2002, in Rockingham County, Raven brought immense joy and love to those around him.

He was preceded in death by Ralph Donald Sebastian and his great-grandparents. He is survived by his devoted mother, Ashley Sebastian; his grandmothers, Vicky Surratt and Anita Sebastian; his sister, Alana Warren; and his brother, Joseph Warren.

Raven was deeply loved, and we are forever grateful for the time God granted us with him. He found joy in watching sports, going for rides—especially with his Papa—and taking trips to the grocery store, proudly walking and helping put items in the cart. He enjoyed assisting with dinner, placing food on the pan or eagerly bringing the pans to the stove when he was ready to eat. His happy dance whenever he heard the mixer whipping potatoes—his favorite sound in the world—brought smiles to everyone around him.

Mickey Mouse was his favorite companion, and he loved chewing on its ear. Around the age of three, Raven was diagnosed with a chromosome disorder, and at eight, he was found to have autism. In his teenage years, he began experiencing seizures, and cerebral palsy gradually took hold. Despite facing countless hospital visits —at least one every year of his life due to pneumonia—he was a true warrior with an unbreakable will to live.

Raven fought with incredible strength until the very end, and we could not be prouder of the fighter he was. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the compassionate staff at Sovah Hospital in Danville for their unwavering care and support.

Raven, you touched so many lives, and your absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Rest peacefully, sweet boy—you will be missed beyond words.
