Raul Cesar Rivas Cantu

Born in Cuatrocienegas, Coahuila the 10th of December of 1961.

Son of Fidencio Rivas Santamaria and Maria Santos Cantu Reyes.

Raul passed away on August the 2nd at his home in Kingsville Texas at the age of 60. Father to four wonderful children, loving son, and brother to 13 siblings. He is preceded in death by his father Fidencio Rivas Santamaria, sister Silvia Rivas Cantu, and brother Carlos Federico Rivas Cantu. He was an environmental engineer and plant lover. Raul was known for his beautiful garden filled with squash, nopales, limes and lemons, and beautiful flowers like Ave de Paraiso. He had an ability to revive just about any dying plant. He loved to joke around and dance, even with his two left feet. As soon as he'd meet someone new, he would joke around with them and make them laugh as if he’d known them for years. He was a funny, caring soul. He will be missed dearly and remembered by all his loved ones.
