Unexpectedly. Rasha grew up in the Bronx New York where he attended P.S.4 and JHS 147 Rasha also attended Christopher Columbus High School.

Rasha Loved sports of all kinds. He didn’t play but loved to watch baseball, basketball and football. You could always find him wherever there was a game and hear him cheering on in front of the television. There was nothing he loved more other than his family. He was a loving son and a supportive brother. Always encouraging everyone he new to live life as fun and carefree as he did. He will be missed by all who knew him and loving memories cherished by his family.

Rasha Allen was the son of Avon Allen Pre deceased and Nettie Lee White. He was the brother of Avon Allen JR , Jerome Allen and Jessica Allen all predeceased. He is survived by his mother Nettie Lee White and sister Niaoka Allen. Also his brothers Kenyon Allen, Kareem Heyward Allen, Jason Allen Christopher Allen, Anthony Allen. Rasha was believed to have a daughter Staraysia Thomas. He will also be missed by all his nieces and nephews especially Keosha Scott whom he helped raised and continues to call for him to go to the store for m&m’s

He was a guy that loved life and to smile and if I forgot anyone please don’t be offended. Rasha carried everyone in his heart and remembered everyone’s birthday. He tried to be everything to everyone as he could. Let us never forget his laughter and his smile.

“This Is Not Goodbye!”
This is not goodbye but see you later

Even with time the hurt grows
greater

Maybe one day the heartache will be less

As the years go by is my only
guess

I pray there is a greater plan
Only then I could understand

For you to move on without warning
Leaving us here in mourning

I pray your transition gave you peace

Even though your breath
has ceased

The memories of you will never die and I sigh

As I look up to the sky
Wondering why

Jehovah is not a liar
Even as the pain burns like fire

For those who trust in his word
Awake again when the call is heard

Death is the process to get to the promise

Although your presence will be missed
