Randy Eric Mercer, 64, of Bay Roberts, NL passed suddenly away on June 28, 2023. He was born on November 27, 1958, in Bay Roberts, NL, to the late James French Mercer and Edith Caravan.

Randy was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted individual who cherished his family above all else.

He is survived by his pride and joy, daughters Amanda Arlene (Andrew) and Melanie Randilyn (Brady). Randy is also survived by his sisters Marie (Tom), Diane (Frank), Sandra, and brothers Gary (Dora) and Rick (Denise). He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Mercer (née Earle), parents James Mercer and Edith Caravan, and brothers Dennis, Jimmy, and Wayne.

Randy found great joy in watching sports, particularly as an avid and devoted Detroit Red Wings fan. He would often gather with friends and family to cheer on his favorite team.

Visitation will take place at Moore's Funeral Home in Bay Roberts on Monday, July 17th, 2023, from 2:00-4:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM. A Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery in Bay Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helping Hand, Bay Roberts, or a charity of one's choice.

Randy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
