Background
Randy always had a heart for helping kids who needed a chance.
When Wil was in school, Randy made it a priority to help his football teammates get to combines where college scouts could see them. He believed that sometimes young people just need someone to open a door and believe in them. He was especially proud of the coaching he did as a young adult in Coffeyville, Kansas, where he worked hard to guide and encourage the players he mentored.
On February 1st, our school community experienced a sudden and heartbreaking loss when our cafeteria manager passed away unexpectedly. She leaves behind a daughter who is about to graduate high school and dreams of going to college, but she currently cannot afford to attend.
Our family began thinking about what Randy would do in a situation like this. We realized that helping this young woman pursue her college education would be a meaningful way to honor his memory. It would be one more young person whose future could be changed by the kind of support Randy always believed in giving.
In Randy’s spirit, we hope to come together as a community to help make college possible for her. By supporting her education, we continue the legacy Randy lived every day—helping kids in need find their path forward. Contribute
