In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Ocean Conservation.

Background

Anyone who knew Randy knew how deeply he loved the ocean. Over the course of his lifetime he literally spent hundreds of thousands of hours underwater. Scuba diving defined the very course of his life. He was passionately committed to teaching people to enjoy and appreciate the underwater world, teaching hundreds of people to dive over his 4+decades as a Diving Instructor and Underwater Guide.

In Randy’s honor, his family have decided to start a foundation called ‘Ocean Advocates’ dedicated to ocean conservation. A fund has been established in Randy’s honor, 100% of donations to this fund will directly go towards initiatives that protect marine life in the BVI and foster opportunities for young people in the BVI to experience the intrigue and beauty of the underwater world.

Jacques Cousteau once said “You protect what you love.” Randy’s life commitment was to help people fall in love with the ocean. It is his family’s hope that Ocean Advocates will help keep Randy’s legacy alive by creating opportunities for people to come together to protect the world’s oceans for many generations to come.

On a practical level, if you would like to donate please do not try to donate through EverLoved’s donation platform. Instead please email Lauren and she will provide further guidance on how to make your donation, thank you! laurentkeilbvi@gmail.com
