Randy's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randy Isenburg, who left this world on April 22, 2023. Born on October 31, 1959 in Fontana,  CA, Randy lived a life full of kindness, generosity, and adventure. He traveled to and lived in distant places like Hawaii and Alaska. He was a loyal, boisterous, and funny individual who made a lasting impact on everyone he crossed paths with.

Randy had a unique outlook on life, embracing humor and always reminding those around him to take time out for fun, reminding us all not to take life too seriously. "F*** 'em if they can't take a joke!" he'd often say.

Throughout his lifetime, Randy achieved many accomplishments that he could be proud of. He successfully managed a pet store, bringing joy to countless animal lovers and pets alike. He moved Alaska and Hawaii. He fought for and received his disability approval, advocating for his own well-being. Moreover, Randy was a testament to perseverance and resilience, as he not only managed to get his diabetes under control but also survived a COVID-19 infection with several comorbidities.

Randy's legacy was built on his selfless nature and boundless generosity. He was someone who helped countless individuals with emotional and tangible support – always willing to lend a hand when needed. His heart was as big as his personality, and his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.

One of Randy's most enduring passions was his love for animals, particularly birds. His innate connection with these creatures extended to the point that he would often have birds fly up to him and perch on his shoulder. Today, we can take solace in knowing that Randy's spirit soars freely among the birds he loved so dearly.

As we remember Randy Isenburg, let us honor his memory by embracing his lessons of humor and kindness, and by striving to live our lives with the same unwavering sense of adventure and loyalty that he embodied. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
