Randy's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy Burgdorf, a beloved father, grandfather, partner, brother, and friend. Born on the Fourth of July in 1950, Randy was a beacon of love and kindness throughout his life, which sadly came to an end on March 21, 2024.

Randy was a man of many passions and a warm heart. His favorite pastimes included playing cards, frequenting the casino, fishing, and spending precious time with his family. A truly fun, loving, kind, and generous man, Randy never missed an opportunity to bring joy to those around him. His favorite way of keeping active was taking Missy, his cherished dog, on long walks. An ardent lover of the simple joys of life, his favorite vacation spot was the family cabin, where many priceless memories were created.

Randy is survived by his partner Lorraine Revard, his children Candi Lucas, Sonny Burgdorf, Ryan Burgdorf, and step-daughter Michelle Revard. He also leaves behind his sons-in-law Dustin Lucas, his daughter-in-law Christine Burgdorf, and his grandchildren Dylan Jameson, Leah Lucas, Makayla Lucas, Elizabeth Kangas, Mitchell Kangas, Christian Kangas, Isabel Burgdorf, Jacob Murray, Madison Murray, Allison Pitt. Randy's legacy will also live on in his surviving siblings, brothers Steve Burgdorf, Rick Alberts, Jim Alberts, Tim Alberts, Roger Alberts, and their spouses Dottie Burgdorf, Linda Alberts, Cathy Alberts, Sheila Alberts. He also leaves behind his ex-wife Alna Gallagher.

Randy was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and William Alberts. One of the most valuable lessons Randy left behind for us is about unconditional love. His notion of love transcended beyond mere words and reflected in his actions and relationships.

Randy's departure has created a void that will be hard to fill, but his spirit, love, and the invaluable lessons he bestowed us with, will keep him alive in our hearts forever. His laughter, warmth, and benevolent nature will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
