Randy Abar, 42, of Potsdam, NY passed away on September 08, 2025 after a car accident and He was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by her father Jeffrey Abar of Ogdensburg, mother Susan Gauthier of Heuvelton, sisters Hollie (Brian Francia) Abar of Heuvelton and Candi Abar of potsdam.Stacie Lester (Derrick) Texas. brother Alan Abar, both of Gouverneur, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Randy was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Joan and Joe Downey, maternal grandparents Donald and Margaret (Spicer) Gauthier, his stepfather Homer Moncrief in 2018, and his niece Shylynn Dixon on March 3, 2021.

Randy was born on July 7, 1983 in Ogdensburg, a son  of Jeff Abar and Susan Gauthier. He attended Ogdensburg  and graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 2002.
