Randi's obituary

Ms. Randi Nicole Madrie Dinsmore-Lewis, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was 39.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Louis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Randi was born April 30, 1982, in Ozark and lived most of her lifetime in Dothan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Shane Adams; maternal grandparents, Robert and Arabelle Turbeville; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Lela Louise Madrie.

Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Amber Dinsmore and AnnaBelle Dinsmore, both of Dothan; a son, Alexander Lewis, Ashford; mother, Lorrie Adams (Bobby), father, Ronnie Madrie (Sherry), all of Dothan; three sisters, Dawn Adams Hix, Hartford, Jessica Lynn Adams, Newton and Machelle Adams, Cottonwood; two brothers, Lee Madrie (April), Malvern and Bobby Adams, Jr., Dothan; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Landen Adams, Tanner Irwin, Lee Madrie, AnnaBelle Dinsmore, Bobby Adams, Justin Gilley, and Kevin Ashworth.


Randi was an obvious artist from a very young age, with art being her favorite subject in school. Her favorite mediums included [medium] and when a bit older changed into [medium type]. She submitted her first piece to [location] when she were only [age]. After graduating high school, [first name] went on to pursue a degree and career in [subject]. She was accepted into [university name] and would later graduate with a degree in [subject].

Once graduating, [first name] leapt into the field of [chosen field], with multiple showings in [list of galleries]. Her favorite medium as an adult was [type of medium]. Randi also found [himself/herself] involved in a number of other hobbies, including [list of hobbies]. With a large family and even larger group of friends, her loss is truly and deeply felt.

Randi was predeceased by her [list of family members predeceased]. She is survived by [list of surviving family members].

The family asks that donations be made to [name of program] in memory of [full name].
