Randell Mishler Denissen passed away following a long term illness, on November 5, 2024.  He was 68 yrs old.  He was born in 1955 to a naval officer Richard Denissen and wife Bette.  He traveled extensively throughout his life.  Randell never met a stranger.  He made friends easily.  He had a kind and gentle spirit. He worked for many years until his retirement, as a Senior Accountant and CFO.  He had a variety of interest and pursuits.  He was a seasoned deep sea diver, an avid sailor, a row boat race participant, he belonged to a bowling leaque in Virginia Beach.  He was a lifelong Cribbage Player with the Richmond Cribbage Club, and was registered with the American Cribbage Congress. He loved reading, an was a fan of Star Trek and Clive Custler.  He was a trained ballroom dancer.  He enjoyed music, especially the moody blues.  He was a DJ during his college years and had an active following. He had a giving spirit, and would often  randomly buy someone's grocery's in the market, or purchase a gas tank fill-up for a stranger.  He was raised in the catholic church, and remainded faithful to the lord his entire life.  He was a constant companion to his wife for the last 23 years, and will be dearly missed.
