Randall S. Peterson "Randy" passed away peacefully at a local hospital in Reno, Nevada on January 31, 2025. Randy was born in 1947 in Payson, Utah to Stanley and Colleen Peterson and was the first born of five children. He grew up in Payson and attended Payson High School. Shortly after graduation he moved to Reno. He started a family and worked at Harrah's. Randy was a simple man, enjoying the simple pleasures life has to offer. He loved to fish and feed squirrels and he adored his great grandchildren. He will truly be missed.

He is survived by his children Lance Peterson and Amy Peterson, both of Reno, Nevada; his granddaughter Veronika Castro (Gabriel) of Vallejo, California and his two great grandchildren Elijah and Amelia,

He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Colleen Peterson and his siblings Tracy, Marie, Doug and Jeffrey (Chugger)
