Randy's obituary
Randall Scott Kimbrow, 60, of Hardaway, Alabama, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on January 4, 2026.
Randy was born on January 30, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the beloved son of Charles and Shirley Kimbrow.
He is survived by his parents and his children: Dusty (MacKenzie) Kimbrow of Auburn Alabama, and Julie Kimbrow of Lenzburg, Illinois. Randy had five grandchildren: Benjamin, Nate, Abby, Hannah, and Owen Kimbrow. He is also survived by his loving siblings: Debbie Smith, Chuck (Beth) Kimbrow and Sharon (Phil) Gasaway. Nieces and nephews include Brandon Smith, Audrey (Austen) Martin, Joey (Kaley) York, Kayla Kimbrow and Whit York. His great-nephews are Charlie Martin, Owen Martin and great-nieces Gracie York, Mary York, Sarah York, and Avery Smith.
Randy leaves behind his cherished partner, Olivia Reynolds, and the family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for her unwavering support and care.
Randy graduated from Bullock Memorial School in Union Springs, Alabama. He played football and basketball and enjoyed good fellowship with his teammates. He later became a foreman for MainLine, where he repaired water distribution lines around the southeast to provide safe drinking water for thousands. In his spare time he enjoyed bulldozer work and creating roads and ponds on his farm. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he passed down his knowledge of hunting and fishing to his son. Randy was also skilled in carpentry and woodworking. His greatest love was riding his Harley on long trips across the country.
The family will gather for a private service at Gray Funeral Home in Union Springs, Alabama on Saturday January 17, 2026.
