Randall's obituary

Randall “Randy” Wade Gruetzmacher, 68 of Alvin, Texas was born into this life March 5, 1965, and passed from this life, and into his eternal one, on February 23, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Alvin, Texas, he was known by his friends as someone who would give you the shirt off his back and help with whatever they needed.

Randy was a caring father to Anthony, whose accomplishments as a United States Marine, and father were a source of pride for him. He was immensely proud to be the grandfather of Emma, and Noah.

Although Randall’s life was filled with many blessings, he also faced challenges that made him the compassionate, and caring person that he was. His dedication to his family and friends was unconditional, and he approached all relationships with a sense of empathy and humor that made him approachable to anyone.

Randy is preceded in death by his beloved dogs Little Dog and Nikki, as well his father, Harlin. He is survived by his mother Carlyn, who he loved deeply, and his brothers Jeffrey and David.

Randy loved hand making jewelry with rare precious gemstones, collecting vintage firearms, and a had a deep dedication and appreciation for God.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love and commitment to those who meant most to him.

A memorial service will be held at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas on March 21, 2025 at 10am.
