Randy always spent time with Rachelle and me. We always had great big brothers that treated us so well. Randy would like to make up stories about our dog Pepper and our neighbor dog Buddy. He always had them going on an adventure and I loved those stories. He and our other brothers, to make us feel safe at night, would let us knock on the wall between our rooms if we were scared and they would always knock back. My entire life anytime I have knocked, my big brothers have been there for me. And Randy sometimes knocked before I could by helping in ways I didn't even know I needed. I love you, big brothers. All of you. đź’—

Randy and Ron were taking me and Gina to the movies and we wanted to see a cartoon and my brother said no we are going to see this new movie called Star Wars!We begged him and pleaded because we didn’t want to see that. We all climbed into the gold Chevelle and we went to see Star Wars and all I I remember is it’s been my favorite movie ever since ! Randy was right!Glad we chose Star Wars

There's so many great stories and memories of my Dad. I could make hundreds of posts so I will just share a few fond memories. I remember when I was very young (Age 4,5,6 ish) my Dad would set aside one day every month or so to specifically spend time with each one of us kids individually. He would maybe take me to a movie, out to dinner or ice cream and then buy me a toy etc. He did this with each of us regularly so he got to spend one on one time with us and get his full attention. I remember how excited I would feel when it was my turn for my "Day Out With Dad"..
Another thing my Dad liked to do from time to time over the years was surprise us with spontaneous trips. One time when I was about 7 or 8, he woke us all up at like 2am and told us to get ready for the beach! So we all got packed and were on the road within an hour or two, headed to VA Beach about 4 hours away and stayed a weekend. Another time when I was around 12 or 13 I woke up and he told me to get ready because I'm taking you to Busch Gardens today. And we had the best time.Â
But I also really cherished the simpler things about my Dad. Like how every year he would make his signature homemade Turkey soup from Thanksgiving leftovers and it was so delicious and a treasured tradition. I will really miss my Dad's Turkey Soup this year...Â
I love you and miss you already Dad❤
