I've known you since we were kids. We grew up, grew away from but managed to stay friends all these years Yes, we annoyed each other but we could always count on one another. 

You loved our grandchildren and lived for them. You loved fishing, building, and hunting. 

I didn't realize how often you come to mind until I can't pick up the phone and check-in. You had a firm stance and no give on the things you believe in, the scariest mad face I've ever seen and the strongest sense of loyalty to your people.

I'm sad to know you knew how bad this was and didn't share but believed in your determination to get you through. It breaks my heart that I had to say goodbye so soon. 

You were loved and you are missed!
