Ramona is survived by her six children: Kenneth "Jim" Hodges (Valerie), George Pilkinton (Lynelle), Sheila Coker, Edward Pilkinton, Sidney Pilkinton, Alicia "Lisa" Edens, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others. Her memory will be cherished by all those who were blessed to know and love her.
Ramona was an avid reader, with favorites including her Bible and Western novels. She owned many paperback novels in her lifetime and often fell asleep with a book in her hand. She enjoyed playing card games with family and friends and could stay up late into the night with an intense game of Phase 10. One of her favorite recreational activities was playing bingo, which is an activity that many of her grandchildren will miss sharing with her.
Ramona's vibrant personality and zest for life will long be remembered by those who love her, and her impact on her family and community will never be forgotten. Ramona enjoyed cooking and dedicated countless hours to serving her church while she was physically able. Additionally, she served many years as a Senior Companion Caregiver. Ramona had an infectious personality and never met a stranger. May she rest in peace, knowing her love and admiration have been an inspiration to others.
