Ramon Handley, age 90, passed away peacefully March 17, 2019. Although it breaks our heart that he is gone, we are at peace knowing he's no longer in pain and exactly where he needs to be.

Mr. Handley was loved by many, including wife, Marlene Handley, eleven children; Ramona, Ron, Rita, Gary, Jeff, Terry, Kimberly, Cathy, Sherry, Jerry Ann, and Michele. He also left behind 21 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

He served in the US Navy, and was a veteran of World War II. Ramon enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1945 at 16 years old and was aboard the USS Rockbridge, as part of an assault force that transported troops and supplies to the beach for days-long engagement on the Japanese Volcano Island. He also sailing all over the Pacific, including Hawaii, Japan, China, and the Philippines.

A memorial will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 between 2pm-4pm at VFW Hall Tomball, 14408 Alice Rd., Tomball, TX 77377.
