A graveside committal service for Mr. Ramon Gonzalez , Sr of Tampa, Florida will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida with Elder Gary L. Williams officiating. Interment will follow.

Ramon Gonzalez Sr was born January 4th, 1935 to the late Davina and Jose ,  He was affectionately known to family and close friends as “ fonso  ”. He was the ninth of thirteen children. Ramon  accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shilow M. B. Church. Ramon was educated in Madison County school system and graduated from Madison County High School in 1956. After his graduation, he relocated to Tampa and began his career as a Laborer at Tampa Electric Company, working his way to become a Coal Equipment Operator. He retired after 30 years of service with the company.

On Monday night ,September 18, 2023 he answered the call from his Heavenly Father. He will be missed by his sons, Antonio Gonzalez ,  Angel Gonzalez,  Adela Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez. grandchildren, Elayne Gonzalez  , Austin, carmen , and Timothy D. Julio, Pedro , Andrea and Belkis Gonzalez, two brothers; one sister; one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
