Background
Ralph was first diagnosed with breast cancer at age 67 and after undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, remained cancer-free until his recurrence at age 78, which became metastatic. Additionally, his daughter and sister-in-law were both diagnosed with breast cancer and successfully treated due to advancements in modern medicine. As a result, he supports research foundations like BCRF, that focus heavily on finding a root cause and the permanent eradication of breast cancer.
