I spent quite a bit of time at Aimee's house growing up and Mr. Ralph was always there with a big hello, a big smile, and a funny joke. He was larger than life and anyone who was lucky enough to know him knew that he had a lot of love to give everyone around him. Condolences to everyone wo loved this great man.

Sorry for your loss Aimee. We are sending our love, prayers, and support. Please let us know if their is anything we can do for you and your family.

Aimee and I have been friends since elementary school and I have fond memories of spending time with Aimee and family as a child. Mr. Ralph and Mrs. Shirley were always welcoming. I remember being a shy kid and taking a minute to get used to Mr. Ralph's teasing and joking around. :-) Condolences to all of you on your loss of someone who was so full of life and love.
Life always got better after talking to Mr. Ralph. He was one of the kindest gentlemen we've ever met. We could never leave from his house without him giving us a pack of fish and white beans from the freezer. His passing has made us so sad as we have not been able to see him or Mrs. Shirley at church in the last year and regretfully have only visited once within that time. Mrs. Shirley and his family and friends will be in our prayers. Mrs. Shirley, we don't live too far, please call if you need anything!

I first met Ralph in the second grade @ Houma Elementary. From that day on, I was his friend. If Ralph passed me on the street, he would always stopped to say hello, and asked how I was doing. RIP Decatur Verret

We are Matt’s cousin and just recently connected with Matt, Heather & family. I message Heather quite often. She has written lovingly about her step father and her family. Heather is a wonderful person and any parent who raised her can be proud. Great job Ralph, now May you rest in God’s loving arms.
Ralph, Dale and I count ourselves fortunate to have experienced life with you and Shirley at your camp, doing what you loved most! We had the fishing trip of a lifetime with you and Todd! And we'll always remember New Years fondly because of the way you told the story of fireworks on a wharf gone wrong! I will treasure the memory of the last hug I got from you!
Shirley and all of your family, I am so saddened by your loss. I know that God has a plan for each of us and this was His for Ralph. Take comfort in the wonderful memories of the love you shared! " Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." We send our love to all, Nancy and Dale
