Ralph Olinger Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you on the passing of Oley.
I truly miss Oley. We spent 42 years (365 days) fishing in Canada. We had many great memories on our trips. I will never forget him concocting those ugly lures using a GREEN jig, spinners and a minnow, and he still caught walleyes and northerns. Oley really enjoyed talking about his family, baseball, Castle Rock, nursing home resident antics and generally talking smart. I cannot forget our times at Pleasant Lake plus Oley introducing me to true “up north” deer hunting. I was so blessed to know Oley. I know he was a great father and man. A true friend, and I will miss him greatly.

Your Dad and Mom were wonderful, caring people and good friends. We always enjoyed visits in MN and WI. They were stand-in parents for our son Neal. Great role models for him! We are happy and privileged to have known them both. Rest In Peace.
