“In God’s goodness, when he takes one home, he bestows us another special blessing upon us”
Ralph's life-long and well loved passions of hunting and fishing were passed down through his following generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of stories to be told. (Just ask them.)
Ralph above all loved God and his family.
Anytime you were around him, he always had an endless supply of stories to tell that made you laugh. His laugh was contagious, he always laughed harder and louder than anyone else in the room.
He never met a stranger and had the remarkable ability to make everyone he met feel like an old friend!
He loved playing the piano and singing. If by chance you were singing a solo he almost always would sing along making it a duet.
His joyous humor made it easy for him to connect with anyone! He was famous for his eccentric antics, especially bursting into a room with his fake glass eye, his false teeth turned sideways along with his hair all messed up... He would do anything for a laugh!!
As it was a “McCloy thing”, Ralph had a knack for fixing and building just about anything Whenever Ralph and Barb moved into a new house, Barb had a remodeling project lined up for him. Working side-by-side, they steadily transformed each house into a home.Whenever Ralph and Barb moved into a new house, Barb had a remodeling project lined up for him. Working side-by-side, they steadily transformed each house into a cozy home.
Ralph's heart was large and filled with immense kindness.
Although he may be gone, our memories of him will live on forever.
