We'll be gathering with family and friends to inter our Dad's ashes alongside our Mom's on July 13 at 1:00 PM at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay. Ralph was not a religious soul so there will be no religious component to the ceremony but he will be buried with military honors in recognition of that experience that was such a big part of his life and identity.

We welcome you to share your thoughts and memories of Ralph at that ceremony, at an informal reception to follow (TBA) or as we gather at the Griffiths' cottage on Grindle Lake the following day. Please see the Events section of this memorial website for details and directions.

Ralph W. Johnson, 97, a resident of Corrales, NM since 1983 and a native of Green Bay, WI passed away August 8, 2017 after a short illness. Born April 7, 1920 to the late Chester and Louise (nee VanderWegen) Johnson. Ralph married Gladys Gwendolyn Griffiths (Gwen G. Johnson) on October 10, 1942 and shared his life and career in the United States Air Force with her, raising three children and traveling extensively in the U.S. …
