Ralph Edwin Horton, 83, of Oldsmar, Florida, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Mease Countryside Hospital, Oldsmar, FL. Ralph was born January 3, 1940, in Elyria, OH, the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Elizabeth Horton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Bianco Horton; and brothers Harlan “Keith” and Roger Horton.

Ralph was an accomplished athlete in track, basketball, volleyball, baseball, bowling and football. He was a generous man and enjoyed spending time with his family and day trading. Ralph retired from Lincoln Electric and owned many businesses throughout the years. Ralph was dedicated to his faith in the Lord, his church and was passionate about his family. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserves. He is survived by his children Kevin Horton, Kimberly (Rob) Bender, Kristin (Scott) Thorndike; 6 grandchildren, Bradley (Perri) Bender, Brennan Bender, Brielle Bender, Justin Thorndike, Becca Thorndike, Natalie Thorndike; and one great granddaughter Jennie Joy.

Celebration of Life service will be 10 am, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Calvary Church, Clearwater, FL.
