October 30, 1967 – February 19, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rafael Campos Franco, who left us unexpectedly on February 19, 2025, at the age of 57. Though his passing was sudden, he took his last breath in a place that brought him joy—his semi-truck, a symbol of his lifelong passion for the road and the freedom of the open highway.

Born on October 30, 1967, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Rafael carried with him the spirit of hard work, devotion, and kindness that defined his life. He was a man of serenity, patience, positivity, and deep respect for others, always inspiring those around him with his calm presence. His love for cars, especially VW Bugs, was unwavering—he still owned the very Volkswagen Beetle he brought from Mexico over 35 years ago, a testament to his deep connection to his roots and the things he cherished.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Andrea Campos, and his four children, Alan, Humberto, Vielka, and Damian Campos, who will forever carry his love in their hearts. He is also survived by his mother, Piedad Franco, his brothers Eduardo, Carlos, and Gabriel Campos, and his sisters Claudia and Marcela Campos. With the hope of the resurrection, he and his father, Eleuterio Campos, will one day be reunited with all their loved ones once again.

His sister, Claudia, shares these heartfelt words:"I will miss you, dear brother. You were a hardworking and dedicated man. Above all, you were characterized by a serenity that inspired everyone who knew you. Your kindness, patience, discretion, and respect for others were, and will always be, qualities I deeply admire in you. I eagerly await the day we meet again so I can give you a big hug. - 1 Peter 1:3."

A viewing will be held on March 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont, CA. His burial service will follow at 1:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.

Though we mourn his passing, we find comfort in the cherished memories he leaves behind—the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Rafael Campos Franco, quien nos dejó inesperadamente el 19 de febrero de 2025, a la edad de 57 años. Aunque su partida fue repentina, tomó su último aliento en un lugar que le traía felicidad—su camión, un símbolo de su pasión de toda la vida por la carretera y la libertad del camino abierto.

Nacido el 30 de octubre de 1967, en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, Rafael llevó consigo el espíritu de trabajo arduo, entrega y bondad que definieron su vida. Fue un hombre de serenidad, paciencia, positivismo y profundo respeto por los demás, siempre inspirando a quienes lo rodeaban con su presencia tranquila. Su amor por los automóviles, especialmente por los Bochos, fue inquebrantable—todavía conservaba el Bochito que trajo de México hace más de 35 años, un reflejo de su fuerte vínculo con sus raíces y las cosas que más apreciaba.

Deja atrás a su amada esposa, Andrea Campos, y a sus cuatro hijos, Alan, Humberto, Vielka y Damian Campos, quienes llevarán su amor en sus corazones por siempre. También le sobreviven su madre, Piedad Franco, sus hermanos Eduardo, Carlos y Gabriel Campos, y sus hermanas Claudia y Marcela Campos. Con la esperanza de la resurrección, él y su padre, Eleuterio Campos, un día se reunirán nuevamente con todos sus seres queridos.

Su hermana, Claudia, comparte estas emotivas palabras:

La velación se llevará a cabo el 10 de marzo de 2025, de 10:00 AM a 12:00 PM en Weaver Mortuary en Beaumont, CA. Su sepultación será a la 1:00 PM en Montecito Memorial Park en Colton, CA.

Aunque lamentamos su partida, encontramos consuelo en los hermosos recuerdos que deja atrás—el amor que dio, las lecciones que enseñó y la bondad que mostró a todos los que lo conocieron.
