Racquel's obituary

Racquel Marie Love, a St. Louis native and dedicated mother of seven, was unexpectedly called home on August 8th, 2021 in Columbia Heights, MN, at the age of 52. She had lived in the Twin Cities area for many years at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her loving children Darryl Carter, Danielle Frazier, Tanesha Frazier, Xavier Frazier, Kevin Nash, Omari Kirk, and Olijah Kirk, to whom she was a constant source of inspiration, strength, and wisdom.

Racquel was born in St. Louis, MO on August 22nd, 1968. A talented saleswoman and marketer, she reached the peak of her profession as one of the top salespeople within Mary Kay cosmetics for three consecutive years. Racquel was known to have a beautiful singing voice and a rare gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. She often stated that being the mother of her children was her proudest accomplishment. As a single, Black mother of seven facing adversity in many forms, Racquel modeled the values of perseverance, resilience, hard work, and mentorship for her children. Her love showed most of all through her sacrifice, as she selflessly prioritized her loved ones, no matter what the need. She practiced and preached loyalty above all and was truly the backbone of her family.
