Rachel Renee Sever, 47, of Woodland Hills , passed away on July 28, 2021, after a 16 month battle with breast cancer.  Rachel was born on September 10, 1973 to Mike and Margo Pillar in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from Kennedy High School in 1990 she went on to study Environmental Biology at CSUN.

After graduation, she met Kirk Sever, and they wed in 2000, going on to have 2 children, Max Sever, and Isabelle Sever.

When Rachel had Max, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Rachel excelled at guiding and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Kirk through his writing, or the kids with school,  she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Rachel was a passionate creative artist, crafter, and cook.  When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her favorite parks and beaches enjoying Nature.  We will miss her greatly. Rachel  was predeceased by Marc Gravelle, stepfather  She is survived by Mother, Margo Gravelle, Father, Mike Pillar, Brother Chris Pillar, Sister-in law, Erica Pillar, Stepbrother, Tim Gravelle, Sister-in law, Wendy Gravelle , Brother-in-law Conner Sever, Son , Max Sever, and daughter, Isabelle Sever.
