R. Kristian "Kris" Morton, a man of joyful, whimsical, exuberant, loyal, and lionhearted spirit, passed away on June 11, 2025. Born on November 13, 1952, Kris lived out a life that touched many through his buoyant personality and unforgettable charm. Kris' easygoing nature put all who met him at ease.

This remarkable individual will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Devra Hassing Morton, his dedicated son, Kris Morton, and his cherished daughter, Muffy Morton. He also leaves behind his appreciated son-in-law, Nick McCann and daughter-in-law, Kelsey Morton, to mourn his passing.

R. Kristian was predeceased by his mother, June Morton, his father, Bob Morton, and his sister, Karen Morton Yescas. Their memory continues to live on in the hearts of the Morton family, just as Kris' unforgettable presence will.

Kris held multiple degrees in the arts, media, and architecture, testaments to his diverse interests and relentless pursuit of knowledge. His greatest teachings—generosity of spirit, the importance of being present, finding humor in everything, and always seeing the good in others—are lessons that will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
