Dear Devra, Kristian, Muffy, and the Morton family,
I just received the tragic news of Kristian's passing. My heart is heavy and goes out to all of you. I am completely shocked by this sudden loss.
Kristian has been a constant friend since we began working together at Apple in 2009. His grand personality and visionary artistic flair will be deeply missed, as will our occasional lunches. I called Kristian the 'Baron' because he had an infectious laugh and zest for life—he was a true testament to joie de vivre. We were just recently talking about Picasso's art and the Eames Museum.
Kristian had compassion and empathy that allowed him to connect with anyone, at any age, at any time. It's been hard to connect with friends since COVID, but he always made time for our friendship. I am honored to have been able to call Kristian a friend and look forward to seeing him again someday in heaven.
Kristian, you are and will always be deeply missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Cameron ~

Dear Devra, Kristian, and Muffy,
I just received the news about what happened to Kris. I am utterly appalled. I received a couple emails from him on the 3rd. We chatted about art. I sent him another email later about a question concerning my iPad. I never heard back from him, and this was odd. I asked around, and boom, I was sent the obituary.
Kris was a grand fellow. We had a lot of interesting adventures. He was a great artist, and I think he was a real loss to the creative community. His real aptitude was art, and everything else was work.
I have missed all of you since my financial annihilation. If there is anything I can do, please contact me.
Sincerely, Jeff
