Randy's obituary

Randy Adams passed away on June 16, 2021 from cancer. He was born in Clarkston, Washington on October 15, 1954 to parents Raymond D Allbright and Shirley N Hiar. Years later he was adopted and raised by Charles F Adams, Jr. in Sparks, Nevada.
Randy excelled in school reaching the highest honors, and was a member of the ROTC in high school, and majored in Astrophysics at the University Reno, NV. He went on to become a second Lieutenant in the Army, where he met and married his wife Jacqueline J Tran in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He worked on projects contracted through NASA as well as the Department of Defense, Texas Instruments and Raytheon.
He was a loving husband and father, raising four children, Robert Hull, Kimmy Hull, Sylvia Childers and Marjorie Jeter. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline JoAnn Adams, three daughters, (son Robert preceded him in death), grandchildren, brother Fredrick M Adams, sisters Holli Anne Smith, Brenda S Adams and Terri Lynne Allbright.
Randy was a soft-spoken, gentle man with a dry sense of humor. He was helpful to others, and was an admirable person through his belief system and convictions. A Conservative, he was well-versed in politics. He loved the Universe and as a teenager, often could be found outside viewing the stars through his telescope. His love of the television show Star Trek was well known to all.
He will be missed by those who loved him as well as those who came in and out of his life. God speed to you Randy.
