Priscilla's obituary
Priscilla was raised in Exeter, NH. She attended the Robinson Female Seminary and then Exeter High School, where she was head cheerleader and made many lifelong friends. After graduating she attended the Eliot Hospital School of Nursing. Priscilla worked for many years as a registered nurse, including at Eliot Hospital, where she was a supervisor, The Manchester Red Cross, and the Manchester Mental Health Center. She practiced in several areas of nursing in her long career, and eventually settled on her favorite, psychiatric nursing.
She was called on many times in her off hours to attend the various wounds of the neighborhood children. She once dove fully clothed into a pool to save a drowning toddler, who went unnoticed in the crowded water.
Priscilla enjoyed traveling with her sister Norma and their husbands, and would later spend summers in Venice, Florida with her sister, Phyllis, playing tennis and riding her bicycle.
She was an avid crafter and especially loved sewing and quilting. She loved playing cards at the Jean farm in Epping and at the American Legion. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved animals and was always surrounded by the family dogs, especially her beloved chihuahua, Lily.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and her family was always the center of her life. She attended her grandchildrens’ school, sporting, and cultural events, and never missed a birthday or graduation.
She is survived by her daughters Laurie Paolini and her husband Tom of Brentwood, NH, Lisa Todd and her husband David Sherman of Lebanon, Maine, Casey Todd of Lebanon, and Amy Todd of South Berwick, Maine. She leaves her grandchildren Sam, Chelsea and Andrew Paolini, Nick Provencher, and Max and Sydney Litchfield.
She also leaves her sisters Doris Gaulin of Kingston, NH, Phylllis Lees of Exeter, NH, Norma Fuller of Brentwood, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert Jean of Epping, NH.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
