PRISCILLA WALGAMOTTE EASTWOLD (September 01,1939-December 27, 2025)
Priscilla W Eastwold, 86, affectionately known as Nani to her grandchildren, passed away peacefully at her home in New Orleans on December 27, 2025 while surrounded by her family.
Born on September 1, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Priscilla was the firstborn child of Leslie Walgamotte, Sr and Mary Perez. She was raised mostly in the French Quarter of New Orleans and attended Warren Easton High School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to enjoying her family, Priscilla loved to travel. Priscilla often helped her daughter with genealogy projects and was a descendent of Thomas L. Walgamotte (1833-1866). Priscilla previously worked at LaBiche's in New Orleans when she was in her 20s, and in her later years worked at the Hilton in Florida.
Survivors include her five children, a daughter and four sons: Vanessa Eastwold of Arizona, Daren A Eastwold of Alabama, Scott A Eastwold of Florida, Jasen A Eastwold (Michelle) and Errol A Eastwold of Louisiana; grandchildren Cassandra R Eastwold Michals (Joshua), Ashleigh S Eastwold (Alec Gibson), Sabiana A Eastwold, Kalden S Eastwold, Niven R Eastwold, Emily M Eastwold; and great-grandson Kaison Maverick Gibson; sister Linda J Oddo (Tony Oddo), and brothers Ricardo Hernandez, Sr and Alberto "Tony" Hernandez. She is also survived by her former husband, Brian A Eastwold, her nieces Danielle Walgamotte and Diana Whitaker (Charley), nephews Frank H Martin (Candy) and John-John Whitaker, other nieces and nephews, her brother-in-law, Ellis Whitaker, friend Duane Cormier, and her favorite cousin, Ricky Cruz, Sr.
Priscilla Eastwold was predeceased by parents Leslie Arnold Walgamotte and Guadalupe “Mary” Perez Hernandez, sister Anita Diana Walgamotte, brother Frank Walgamotte, brother-in-law Thomas Leroy Martin and her fondly remembered cousin, Patricia Walgamotte Lott. Priscilla passed away on the very same day as the grandmother who helped raise her, Anacleta "Anna" Margara de la Cruz.
They are all dearly missed.
