Priscilla's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Priscilla Alvarado, affectionately known as "Grandma Cilla", on December 17, 2023. Born on April 8, 1934, Priscilla was an epitome of warmth, kindness, and love. She was cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the fortune of knowing her.
Priscilla held a profound love for all things that brought joy and happiness to her heart. Her favorite foods were Chile Rellenos, her taste in music inclined towards Christian melodies, and she was an ardent fan of Lifetime TV shows and Hallmark movies. She enjoyed spending quiet moments engaging in recreational activities such as coloring, crocheting, word searches, and puzzles, proving the simplicity of her joys.
An enthusiast of the game Scrabble, Priscilla often spent her leisure hours enhancing her vocabulary and word-building skills. Her love for the color purple was apparent in her wardrobe and the decor around her home.
Priscilla's personality was a beacon of hope and positivity. In times of despair, she taught everyone around her to remain hopeful and always look for the bright side, a lesson she practiced herself, even in the most challenging times. She possessed an unshakable faith, firmly believing in giving everything to God and letting Him take care of the rest. She instilled this valuable lesson in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose love for her is a testament to her greatness.
Her greatest accomplishment lies in her legacy - the enduring love she had for her family and the lessons she left them. Her warmth, kindness, and loving nature were truly reflections of her beautiful soul. She will be dearly missed.
