Preston Ward McGuire II, age 35, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away on the 12th of July, 2023. Preston is survived by his daughter, Kaytlyn McGuire, his parents, Kimberley Little and Preston McGuire I, two brothers, Michael McGuire and Ryan Little, 1 sister Stephanie Lynn Lyons, nephew, Patrick McGuire, as well as numerous Aunts and Cousins. Preston grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma where he attended Lawton High School. Preston served in the US Navy and traveled abroad to Japan. During his enlistment he participated in Humanitarian Missions to assist with Tsunami relief in the Philippines. Upon Preston’s discharge from the Navy, he lived his life on the go between the state of Oklahoma and Texas, where he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing with his brothers, Michael, and Ryan, working on construction projects, and hanging out with his friends. Most importantly, Preston loved being a father to his daughter and best friend, Kaytlyn. Preston may have had some struggles in his life, but he lived his life to the fullest and would do anything for his family and friends. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and at times, angry at all the stories he shared. Preston knew how to set the mood in any room. Our family is grateful to know that Preston’s soul is no longer troubled and he is finally at peace.
