I only got to know Pradip for a short time here at Memorial Middle, but I am glad I did! He was always smiling and just happy to be around. He loved teaching math and shared that love with the students.  The few times we gathered as a team outside of school he would share interesting stories of his travels that I enjoyed hearing about . My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
I knew Pradip for one year, but I am glad I got to know him.  He taught at Grafton Middle school during Covid. It is hard enough being the new guy, but times a hundred when it was also Covid. He had to learn on the go and he did a terrific job. He was curious, asked lots of questions and always did his best. His main concern was the students and he was always trying to help them. We would chat a lot and eat a lot. I would bring in food for him to try from my culture and he would do the same. As it often happens, I lost touch with him after he left.  I am glad he went on to do what he wanted and loved and I am sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God give you guidance and strength during this difficult time. I taught with Pradip in Fitchburg. He was a wonderful and caring man who loved teaching math and sharing his love for travel with his students.

God Bless,

Catherine Burgess

I only had the privilege of knowing Pradip for a short time while he was subbing in our math department in Clinton, but he made a lasting impact. I always enjoyed our conversations.  He loved sharing stories of his travels, his teaching career, and even his favorite foods.  I am also a foodie and we had many conversations about good eats, he even brought us treats sometime. He spoke with such openness and warmth that it was easy to feel connected to him. I’ll always remember the kindness he showed and the joy he found in life’s simple things. So sorry for your loss, I know he will be greatly missed.
I would like to share my condolences. I only had a few interactions with Pradip, but can note his unequivocal wit and intelligence.  Even though I didn’t know Pradip well, he did raise two beautiful and kind children that I am lucky to call family. I wish the Dev family healing and love during this difficult time.
